Steven is a fourth year undergraduate from Houston, Texas majoring in psychological & brain sciences on a pre-med track. He joined the lab in the spring of 2023 and works with Shreenidhi and Heng. His research investigates the fitness consequences of monophagous evolution in a generalist predator, Dictyostelium discoideum, when consuming different bacteria. In his free time, Steven can be found playing volleyball and chess as well as practicing archery. After graduating, Steven plans to apply to and attend medical school to become a doctor.
