Wumi Adekunle

My name is Wumi Adekunle.  I am a Junior majoring in African American Studies with a minor in either Computer Science or Biology.  I am also on the pre-med track.  I love food, especially desserts.  In my free time I can be found volunteering at a elementary school or watching hair videos on Youtube.  I really enjoy working in the Strassmann/Queller lab because this is a new experience for me.  I am currently working with Nick Fry and we are working with Dictyostelium purpureum.

 I am the Vice President of African Students Association and this is a club I love dearly.  I am involved with Studio: Tesla and America Reads and these are programs that help school age children build skills in reading, writing, and math.
