Alexus is a first year undergraduate student majoring in Biomedical Engineering and minoring in Biology. In the lab, she is working to understand Burkholderia’s mode of transmission. Outside the lab, she is involved in the Society of Women Engineers and the Biomedical Engineering Society. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing with friends and spending time outdoors. After completing her undergraduate degree at Washington University, she plans to pursue a graduate degree in biomechanics.
