Margaret Steele got an NSF fellowship!
Postdoc Margaret Steele was awarded the prestigious NSF Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Biology (PRFB). Her work will look at interactions between Dictyostelium amoebae and pathogenic bacteria.

Gina Lewin received NIH Pathway to Independence Award
Gina’s proposal is titled “Probing the role of heterogeneity in streptococcal interactions” and looks at interactions between different bacteria inside the mouth.
